Soliciting Opinions: Small Studio Growth

Sup Gang,

I’m looking to expand my home studio setup with a budget of roughly 1k. I currently have a Digitakt and SP404sx. I did the modular thing for a while and learned a ton ...but... I’m cutting back because that’s an expensive habit.

With all that in mind, I was thinking of either the OP-1 or an MPC2000xl/Moog Grandmother combo.

Does anyone have any input on how the OP-1 plays with the Digi or SP? Would adding an MPC be redundant to an already sampler heavy setup? I am open to alternatives as well! I appreciate the input.
