Native Instruments Prism & Logic Sculpture appear to be the same thing

I just started playing with Prism in Komplete 14 and realized it’s similar to Sculpture in Logic. There are different terms like ‘Exciter’ and ‘Model Bank’ but the results of physical modelling for string, pluck, strike resonance are similar. I guess the filters are different and the routing of sound construction, but they seem to share some concepts. I’m totally new to this type of sound synthesis.
