 | Sequencing paraphonic oscillators is weird, but I’m digging it. One oscillator/sub is handling the lows and the other oscillator is handling the highs and oddly enough ring modulation is adding stuff in the middle. Just added a little Blackhole reverb and I definitely had to use an external EQ to bring down the highs. Anyway I’m really enjoying the Mono Station. This has to be one of the most slept on synths. Maybe it would have done better if it was rebranded as a Bass Station X or desktop. It would help if it allowed pitch bend and modulation with external controllers for when you want to get off the grid and record live audio. Actually, the Mono Station has been really helpful for learning and practicing synth bass. [link] [comments] |
