Question about Dual 1/4-inch TRS Female to 1/4-inch TRS Male Adapter

Hi all, So I'm trying to record my synth in stereo, but my audio interface only has one more Jack line in spot left, if I buy a dual TRS male adapter like this one, and plug the trs cables in, will I be able to receive stereo audio when recording, or does it have to be separate channels on the interface?
Thanks!
