MS-20 (midi controller)

so I accidentally bought a midi controller and haven’t figured out how to make it work. I don’t really have a desktop but with the usb 1.0 it’s also really hard to find adapters. so, my question is, how exactly do I hook it up to my computer and how does it work. is there a program for it and if so, which is the best for a midi controller?
