Tips for fixing scratchy filter cutoff knob on Moog Grandmother?

My filter cutoff knob is makes a scratching noise when turned that doesn't really resolve with use. Not sure if the filter pot need to be replaced or just cleaned. What are the best ways to clean it? Anyone have this issue before?
