Best way to multitrack record my modular rack?

I want each module to have its own channel. I can either

a) directly connect the out of a module into my interface

b) connect the outs of each of my modules to an external mixer and then to my interface

c) get a mixer module that has at least 8 or so individual outs and then take those individual outs into my interface...

everyone always suggested the performance mixer from wmd but doesn't that only have a stereo out and thats it? I want individual outs for each channel... helppppp

OPTION C I NEED SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

either way I am probably going to need a bigger interface with more inputs which is fine
