Controlling Logic pro X with social Entropy Engine hardware midi sequencer?

Hi everyone hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. Currently my Social Entropy engine is connected to my Focus Rite claret via midi din. Currently in Logic pro X when I load a software instrument track The track is controlled by my midi keyboard, how do I change this so the track is controlled by my Focus Rite claret and by extension my engine? I know this is not about hardware synthesisers as such, but because it’s involving a hardware midi sequencer I figured somebody might be able to help me, thanks in advance for your help everyone kind regards Trey.
