I purchased one last year and immediately swapped the flying bus cables for 4ms shrouded powerbuses, because I don't really like flying bus cables, I personally find them fiddly. Anyways the case build is wonderful, the size and aesthetic nice. I put together a small portable system for using outside of studio while watching the baby sleep, and did some recording. The results while usable, were pretty noisy. Not so much hiss but a bit of gate signal bleeding into the audio signal path and what sounds like what you hear with an electromagnetic field recording microphone. I know there are tons of variables in what can be generating noise, from digital modules to unshielded cables, to low quality mixers or recorders But im throwing a probe out to see what has been others experiences.
