Community input needed on Softpop2 or O-noise (for ambient pads / quality filter

I'm weighing the two options above to determine which is best to create versatile ambient pads. I recently picked up a Synthstrom Deluge, and the CV / gates are begging to be used and abused. Anyone here have experience with either or both boxes?
