Personally I'm a trackpad scroll gesture user. I find it to feel the most like turning a physical knob. For me the hunt and scroll rhythm works much better than the, hunt and click and drag and unclick rhythm. If you are someone who doesn't like using software and only does one of these option, I'd suggest giving the others a try.
