A second keyboard amp or studio monitors for my HARDWARE ONLY / DAWless setup?

I have a good keyboard amp, and if I buy another one of the same, I can wire them up for stereo. That would cost $350. Can you please opine on the following: would a pair of $350 studio monitors be better, and why?
