Roland JX-3P or Sequential Six-Trac?

I've got the opportunity to buy either a Sequential Six-Trac (~1000) or a Roland JX-3P (~800); I know they're made for fairly different use cases, but which would you suggest at those price points? Neither would be used for leads, mainly textural backing in some 80's Talking Heads/Oingo Boingo/Wall of Voodoo style stuff. I'd likely get a BCR2000 to program either of them, so the difficulty of programming isn't an issue.
