Hello. I would like your opinions and recommendations on building an esoteric modular synthesizer. The purpose of this device would be to create soundscapes, unsettling noises, non-quantized polyrhythms, and generally chaotic ambience. I already have traditional synthesizers (Moog, Korg, Roland) and understand how to work with them, but I do not currently own any modular equipment, so feel free to educate me if I am making poor design choices.
