Befaco Out V3 - LED function?

What is the function of the LEDs on the inputs of the Befaco Out V3? A

If they are they peak indicators, what level do they peak at? If not, what information can I get from them?

The manual says: "Level leds are available to monitor levels or each signal on the module"
