Hardware recorders for multiple synth parts

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>My Boss BR-600 is crapping the bed with recording synths. I'm looking at in-production units such as the Tascam or Zoom 8-tracks. Does anyone have experience / recommendations?
