Keytar!

What are people's opinions on the keytar? Are they making a come back, or are they still considered way over the top? There's very few bands I know of that manage to pull off the look of having a keytar nowadays, for example TWRP, Alestorm etc, but they've got a gimmick about the band that fits having one, so how would it look if someone was in a tour/cover band but pulled out a keytar instead of just using a stage keyboard? Thanks Smile
