Does the DeepMind Do *Too Much* ?

sooo the DM6 has been my main poly for about a year now even as other synths have come and gone through the studio. Its by far my favorite poly synth i ever used, but i only ever use like 10% of its features and the rest of the stuff thats there usually just gets in my way. I pretty much only use it as Juno 106 clone, i have a custom init patch with velocity turned off and the chorus effect preset to sound like "Chorus1" & "Chorus2" so i just have to turn up the mix knob. Every time i go to use it i cant help but feel like i would rather just have the added LFO & EGs, but get rid of all the menus and mod matrix and make the whole thing knob per function

Really tho it sucks that there arent more analog poly synths being made in that sub $1,000 range that are vintage-syled knob per function deals. seems like everyone is trying to cram in every possible feature they can.
