Very noobish question about input voltages

If multiple sequencers send a trigger to the same input at the exact same time can this damage anything? When can one over volt an input in modular? Using too many stackable cables? Is this even a concern with most newer/popular modules being DC coupled? Also, would it be worth the money for someone just getting into modular to get a Mordax data or some kind of scope? Not necessarily for seeing oscillator wave forms but more for gate, envelope, modulation stuff.
