pico rnd: what does it do?

Hello, I'm interested in the pico RND from erica but I'm not sure what the pulse and rdn pulse out do;

in the manual it says pulse is "random duty circle pulse LFO
output"

and rnd pulse :

"This is Random Trigger output.
The frequency of random triggers is
set by RATE knob"

so the first one (pulse) would output a pusle on each clock with a random duty cycle; or does it change state on each clock pulse to produce gates of random length (but multiple of the clock cycle)?

and does the second (rnd pulse) randomly outputs a trig (or not) on each clock cycle; or does it produce; again; a gate of random length (multiple of clock cycle)? if the first solution is it a 50/50 chance?

If somebody who has this module would clear things up. thanks
