Reduce Qu-bit Bloom range

Is there a way to limit the range of the Qu-bit Bloom's mutations/branches? The manual states that it can do anything +/- 1 octave but it really feels like a lot more than that when I've got mine hooked up to my Plaits, some of the notes it triggers seem painfully high-pitched.
