Buchla MARF and MI Stages / Verbos Voltage Multistage

Hello

I often hear about MARF when it comes to Buchla, a module described as so good that people still use it despite all of its initial flaws. Now I overheard on a recent podcast a Buchla expert comparing two modules by MI and Versos to MARF and assume that he was talking bout Stages and the Voltage Multistage modules.

Is someone here with a deeper level of knowledge to explain how these two modules were influenced by the MARF? I respect both companies a lot and believe they didn't just make lame copies of the concept, but probably added their own spin to it. Does someone else know more about this? Smile
