Do some of you intentionally buy more modules than your case allows in order to be able to change the role of your system only by switching a few modules?
For example, I only have one 3u 84hp case, but i use the 6u template in Modulargrid because I want to be able to have a single voice sequenced with Marbles, or a two oscillators synth I would sequence externally. Most of the modules in these two options are the same, but by switching a few of them, I can go from line 1 to line 2 et have a different system to play with:
