Thinking about getting a Soviet synth. What's the downside?

I'm thinking about adding a Soviet synth to my collection cause reasons. I already know some of the downsides but I'd like to hear from owners or people who considered one and changed their minds, why? What are issues I need to look out for?

Because of the current conflict I'll probably wait for one to come up in the states or elsewhere. I can imagine it's pretty hard to get things out of the Baltic region these days. If I'm wrong I'd like to know, IF I get one depending on what folks say here
