So my setup is on the move pretty often now and I also have enough pieces of gear where my scarlett 8i6 isn’t really cutting it anymore. Plus the hassle of going around the back of the unit to swap connections has been which has slowed me down.
So I’m looking for something like a desktop mixer which: has a small footprint (and is relatively portable), has all the ins/outs on the top, has tape-in/out, and has at least a couple aux sends or inserts. MIDI I/O would be cool. FX aren’t necessary.
I’ve kind of struggled to find something which meets the criteria (and maybe I’m looking for a unicorn if I want something really small/portable but which also has all the other stuff), but if you have suggestions I would really appreciate them!
