Need Help - Microcosm Phrase Looper with DAW

Hi guys,

I am using studio one and sending out to the microcosm via pipeline stereo and back in and all of that works great. I can insert it to my track and I can insert it to a send and whatever I play will be sent to it.

However when I record a loop with the microcosm from a synthesizer being sent to it, it plays the loop but only dry no matter what parameters I change on the microcosm, it’s like it’s ignoring everything but the looper.

I know that this is most likely just me not understanding a part of its signal chain and I just need some advice on how to get this to work if anyone has experience with it
