Mininova or Microfreak?

I've decided that my next piece of hardware is going to be either a Mininova or a Microfreak. Both offer vocoding and the ability to mess around with effects by connecting other instruments. Both are kind of in the same price range.

Can the hive mind give me some insight as to the big differences between the two, which one you prefer using, and why?

If it helps, I'm currently creating music without a computer, and I am not limited on space in my studio (yet - give me couple of years).
