I find modular synths quite interesting - only got "normal" synths myself and a few semi-modular ones. Does anyone know of any recent recordings (no youtube bleepy bloopy videos) of something that could only (!) be done with modular systems? I am talking about a professional release that uses a modular system to create somthing that can't be done with otherwise ( like "Switched on Bach" a long long time ago, but of course back then there were no other options). I am really interesed to discover something new.
