Ssaliva’s “unplugged” sound

I usually enjoy the work of Ssaliva, but my absolute favorite work is kind of an outlier in the catalogue: unplugged vol. 1. The sound palette is limited to what sounds like a single instrument producing plucked string sounds. But is it a sampler or synthesizer? I suspect the latter, but I couldn’t tell you what synthesizer. The sounds are definitely digital. Maybe physical modeling. Maaaybe FM. Anyone have any ideas?
