Should I get the monotron delay or the nts-1?

Watched this video https://youtu.be/18VSdLHR2H8 and it finally convinced me to pick up the Monotron Delay, but then I remembered the NTS-1 can be used in a similar way and has even more options available. Would the NTS-1 be able to do what the delay does in the video, or are they too different?
